apply for a Swedish Visa.

  • A Cambodian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Sweden.
  • The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
  • Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any).
  • Completely filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two identical passport photographs with a light background.
  • Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area.

Sweden Visitor Visa Eligibility &
Requirements

  • The Swedish visitor’s visa is issued to individuals who want to go on a short-stay trip to Sweden for leisure purposes.
  • It is typically used for tourism, ceremonies and to visit friends and families.
  • This visa is a short-stay Schengen visa which is valid for a maximum of 90 days.
  • If you are travelling for visitation purposes, you need to obtain an invitation from the person you are going to visit.
  • The person should enclose their civic registration certificate (personbevis) and a copy of passport, ID card or equivalent, which proves their identity.
  • Ensure that the civic certificate is ordered under the heading of “Inbjudan” (Invitation).
  • Applicants are to provide proof of sufficient funds for the duration of their stay.
  • If you would not be staying with your host or you do not have a host, you need to have a hotel reservation.
  • Medical insurance is compulsory. It should be worth a minimum of EUR 30,000 and would cover the costs of emergencies that might arise during your stay.
  • If you plan to stay in Sweden for more than 90 days, you need to apply for a visitor’s permit.
  • Application forms should be completely and correctly filled as incomplete applications would be rejected.

Sweden Business Visa Eligibility &
Requirements

  • The Swedish business visa is issued for commercial and trade activities.
  • This visa allows its holder to stay in the country for a limited period of time up to 90 days.
  • A letter of invitation from the company you would be doing business with in Sweden is required.
  • Applicants are to have a travel return ticket as proof that they would return to Cambodia at the expiration of their visa.
  • This visa can also be used to attend conferences but proof of the invitation to the conference is required.
  • Health insurance is mandatory. It would cover the costs of any medical bill incurred during your stay in Sweden.
  • Sufficient funds is needed. You must have at least SEK 450 for each day spent in Sweden.
  • A bank statement or documents from the inviting person should be issued as proof.
  • Individuals are to write a cover letter stating the exact purpose of their trip.
  • If the embassy considers that there is reasonable doubt that you will leave Sweden before your visa expires, a visa will not be granted.
  • Ensure that your passport has not been issued for over ten years. If it is older than 10 years, you have to get a new passport before applying for this visa.
  • It is illegal to work in Sweden with this visa.
