Depp is suing Amber Heard for $50 million in court over an op-ed she published in the Washington Post in 2018 about Heard’s experience with domestic abuse.
The years before its publishing, Amber Heard claimed her ex-husband Johnny Depp damaged her face after hurling a phone at her in their Los Angeles home. On the other hand, Depp rejected the accusation and was cleared of any wrongdoing.

According to new court records acquired by The Blast, published by Page Six, Amber Heard requested Johnny Deep to let a mental health specialist see her.

The third day of the tumultuous trial began with jurors haring video deposition testimony from Kate James, Heard’s assistant, from 2012 to 2015.
Amber Head verbally mistreated and underpaid her assistant, stated the former employee testifying Thursday in the defamation trial, which also saw a Johnny Deep admired fired for allegedly uttering threats.
James portrayed Heard as a “very theatrical” employee who just paid her $25 an hour, nearly half her typical pay, in a disposition from 18th February.
Kate also stated that she was “extremely insecure.” Heard, who became enraged whenever she spoke with Deep, scolded James in a “blind rage” and sent Amber a “barrage of angry text messages between 2 and 4 a.m.”
The ex-employee states she never saw Heard of a black eye, broken nose, bumps, bruises, or swelling and hypothesized that the couple’s age disparity might have contributed to some of their known marital problems.
