Moe Dunford is an Irish-born actor and a graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting.
Moe began his journey into the movie industry in 2010 with the historical fiction TV series The Tudors, in which he was cast in two episodes as Richard Leland.
He later gained prominence after he was cast as Æthelwulf, King of Wessex, in the historical drama Vikings and as Patrick Fitzgerald in the Irish drama Patrick’s Day.
Since then, he has featured in many films including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Nightride, Knuckledust, Angela’s Christmas Wish, Topping Out, Dark Lies the Island, Patrick’s Day, Handsome Devil, The Lodgers, Black ’47, Michael Inside, Rosie, Traders and a few others.
On television, Moe appeared in An Crisis, Dublin Murders, Bollywood to Hollywood, Redemption, The Dry, Raw, The Tudors, and Game of Thrones.
Moe is an award-winning actor who has won a number of awards, including three Irish Film & Television Awards.
His role as Patrick Fitzgerald in the film Patrick’s Day, earned him an IFTA for Best Actor in a Lead Role, and an EFP Shooting Stars Award at the Berlin Film Festival.
