Peter Belli’s cause of death – The cause of death for Peter Belli, a Danish singer and actor, remains unknown. Belli died on June 9, 2023, at the age of 79, just 10 days shy of his 80th birthday.
Belli, who was born Georg Peter Brandt on June 9, 1943, had his singing debut in 1959 with the band Trefters.
In the 1960s, Belli and his band, Les Rivals, became Denmark’s first rock stars, opening for such legends as The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.
Belli began to do more dansktop in the 1970s, with songs like Bliv vaek fra vort kvarter and Ingen regning. During the same time period, he began acting in a number of Danish films, including:

He scored a hit with “Hvis det er sandt” from his same-year album “Ar det sdan?” in 1981. It was a cover of Billy Joel’s You May Be Right in Danish.
Belli didn’t return to his rock roots until the late 1980s, when his Yeah album was a huge success.
Et enestende liv, his autobiography, was released in 2011.
