Josh was one of the winners of the competition, chosen to become a part of a new mixed group, Scene 23. The group was short-lived, however, as they only released an album before going their separate ways.

Full Transition to Entertainment

After his run with Scene 23, Henderson then pursued a recording career for a bit, but wasn’t able to find a lot of traction as a solo artist.

He then transitioned to modeling work as he was gaining offers, and also started to audition for acting roles. In 2005, Josh got one of his first leading roles, in the series “Over There”, which was short-lived as the show was canceled after a season. The following year, he gained a bit of popularity when he was cast in the dance film “Step Up” portraying the boyfriend of Jenna Dewan’s character.

After being in the show for a season, he then worked on the CW version of “90210” also for a season.

Dallas and Recent Projects

In 2011, Henderson was cast as one of the lead characters in the revival of “Dallas”, which aired on TNT. He was the son of Sue Ellen played by actress Linda Gray in her relationship with JR Ewing (Larry Hagman). The show received positive reviews during the onset of its run, with a lot of critics naming him as one of the breakout stars. He was also praised for his onscreen chemistry with Pamela Rebecca Barnes, who played Julie Gonzalo. The show lasted for three seasons but was eventually canceled.

Josh was then cast in the series “The Arrangement”, alongside Christine Evangelista. The show tells the story of an aspiring actress who is offered a huge sum to marry one of the leading action stars in the industry. The show itself is a way to present the alleged arranged relationships that occur within Hollywood, with many speculating that it drew direct comparisons with the relationship of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. The show concluded its run after two seasons, with network E! deciding to cancel the show.

Personal Life

Josh has been in several high-profile relationships during his career. His first known relationship was with singer Ashlee Simpson whom he dated from 2002 to 2003. Three years later, he began a relationship with reality television personality Kendal Sheppard, known for her time in “Road Rules: Campus Crawl”. The relationship also lasted for a year, and he then began dating Brittany Snow, who is known from appearing in “Guiding Light”. After the end of their relationship in 2008, he didn’t have any known public relationships until 2013, when he began dating Andrea Boehlke who is known for her work in “Survivor”.

She has a child whom she claims Josh is the father of, but he denies that the child is his.

In 2018, he was arrested on suspicion of burglary, after being reported by his neighbors who allegedly saw him through cameras, robbing the place with two other people. He was later released and charges were dropped as there wasn’t sufficient evidence that points him to the crime. In fact at the time of the robbery, he never left his apartment, and even had security footage showing that he was just staying at his home when the crime occurred.
